| H.E. President of Korea confirms significant synergy would be generated by combining Korea`s technology with the UAE`s business networks. Speaking at the special business forum which UTS was invited to as key UAE establishment; Oil & Gas, and Nuclear Power Energy was on the top of the agenda. H.E. the Korean President, Park Geun-hye, addresses the UAE-Korea Business Forum as she heads the Korean business delegation to Abu Dhabi, and related meetings with strategic partners in the UAE. UAE and Korea have shared over the years continued interest in further development of business ties and increase in investments between the two nations. UTS was on the special invite list to the forum that was attended by Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of International Cooperation and Development, Ebraheem Al Mahmood, first vice-chairman, Abu Dhabi Chamber, Yongmaan Park, Chairman, KCCI, Mohamed Al Hammadi, CEO, Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation, other senior officials and a number of businessmen from the UAE and Korea. UTS has long interest in Korean technologies and innovative solutions in Oil & Gas, Water Treatment, and Nuclear Power Energy. UTS is proud to represent and work closely with Korean partners in the Abu Dhabi market and the GCC across multiple industries. The latest partnership with UNITECH Co., Ltd. is a prime example. During the forum Rafiq Al Gailani, Vice President, Strategic Projects & Principal Relations at UTS also met with H.E. Mohamed Al Hammadi, CEO, of Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation, to discuss the latest development on the future role of the local Abu Dhabi based enterprises, to provide specialized products and services, as ENEC move closely to completing the construction of its Baraka Nuclear Power Plant. UTS has started to cater to the newest industry in the UAE, Nuclear Power Energy, by utilizing its 50 years of expertise in the energy sector, and by working closely with select International leaders & partners in this unique field.
