UTS joins global & regional energy leaders at World Future Energy Summit, 2015

The World Future Energy Summit (WFES), the Middle East’s largest gathering on future energy and one that drives actionable solutions to the world’s energy challenges, has taken place at ADNEC in Abu Dhabi from the 17-24 January 2015.

With 30,000 delegates from 170 different countries, representing expertise from industry, technology, finance and government, and held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the WFES has attracted leading companies that covered the entire energy spectrum – from hydrocarbons to renewables – and gathered to showcase innovations and share best practices.

Rafiq Al Gailani - Vice President, and Elsa Diaz-Duque Bello - Business Development Manager, from the Strategic Projects and Business Development team, represented UTS at the event where they held meetings with technology providers and government officials to discuss new innovations and related sustainability initiatives.
